Dr. Bloom Profile
David Bloom is a native of New England living in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts before settling in New
Hampshire in 1979. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 1975 with a degree in Zoology. From there, he went to Tufts Dental School and graduated in 1978.
He has maintained his dental practice in Salem NH since 1978. Dr. Bloom has followed a rigorous post-graduate training schedule taking 3-4 weeks per year in continuing education. He has studied at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne Florida. Dr. Bloom now serves as one of 75 doctors from around the world as a visiting faculty member to the Institute.
In 1995 Dr. Bloom became very interested in esthetics dentistry and joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). Combining the principles from the AACD and other institutes, Dr. Bloom began his quest to become not only a functional restorative dentist, but also one with a keen eye for esthitics and smile design.
David has been married for 19 years to his wife Pamela. Dr. Bloom's other passions are travel, photography, music and competing in marathons, triathalons and skiing. Dr. Bloom has travelled and photographed in some remote parts of the world including Peru, Morocco, Kenya, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Kashmir, Thailand, Bali, Java, Irian Jaya and Western Europe.
